DeVries & Co, My New Favorite Store in Detroit

Cheese plate of my dreams!

While on a visit to Eastern Market downtown, my parents introduced me to DeVries & Co.

I had no idea what I was getting myself into, but I got excited when I saw all of the cheese options.

They had the most amazing selection, and after tasting so many yummy meats and cheeses, 

it was really difficult to choose just a few to bring home.

This was within hours of getting it all home...

Needless to say, Josh and I have been living off cheese plates ever since I discovered the place.

DeVries & CO is an old school grocery store with all kinds of fun specialty foods. 

It is an amazing place to browse and it is the most fun to go up and taste test all the meats and cheeses! 

I highly recommend a visit if you are anywhere near Eastern Market.

I Finally Wear Them, And They Break...

My new job has made getting up and getting dressed in the morning a whole lot more fun! I have been really challenging myself to dig deeper into the closets and wear shoes I haven't. These fun heels above I found recently and wore them with a black wrap skirt and clean, white button down. It was a fabulous outfit! Sadly, when I came home and took them off I noticed that they were broken...

Hank was clearly very concerned. Oh well, RIP pretty sandals. More room for new ones!
