The Best Layer Dip!

I have to give credit where credit is due, my boyfriend's mother created this snack masterpiece. She would make this great layer dip for family parties, and I just started copying it and adding different twists here and there and it has quickly become a favorite snack/meal of mine! Best part, besides the fact that it tastes amazing, it is so easy to put together!

What You Will Need:

Philadelphia Cream Cheese
Fritos Bean Dip
Lettuce
Sweat Onion
Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Tomatoe
Ground Beef (Seasoning packet optional)
Tortilla Chips

Spread the cream cheese over a nice, big plate. I have found it is easier to do this with a spatula than a butter knife. It is also best if you let the cream cheese sit out while you chop the veggies so it is softer and easier to spread. Once you've got the cream cheese layer, add on a layer of bean dip.

Then top it off with some chopped lettuce, onion, shredded cheese, and tomato.

I like seasoned ground beef on top. Recently during a trip to Macy's I got to taste taste this new seasoning packet, Frontera Texas Original Taco Skillet Sauce. It tasted great so I bought one to give it a try at home. It is really cool because it is a liquid instead of just a seasoning packet, so it keeps the meat nice and moist. I got a great result and will definitely be purchasing more next time I am at Macy's!

Yummy final product! Add some tortilla chips of your choice and enjoy!
